At GWT, technological developments in tool designs have contributed to creating new milling possibilities, as well as significantly increasing the quality, productivity and greater accuracy of operations performed in CNC machining.
Milling tools are used either on their periphery or on their front face. They are useful with several edges, but there are also single-edge applications. They are used for processes such as facing, brushing, turning, and some of their advantages are that they do not heat up as much and that they do not wear out as quickly.
Planing Milling Cutter
Suitable for milling in roughing and finishing operations of materials such as aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metal surfaces.
High strength and lightweight aluminum body. Internal coolant goes directly to the PCD tip, suitable for burr removal, and to improve tool life. Flexible insert can be sharpened and re-typed, and the radial run-out and axial run-out can be kept within 0.003mm to ensure the roughness of the workpiece. The height can be adjusted and has a maximum range of 2mm, which is convenient for increasing the number of sharpenings.
PCBN ball mill
Vertical Cutters or End Mills are cutting tools manufactured with the highest quality, designed for: roughing, grooving, generating cavities, profiling, drilling, etc. The construction of channels and the sharpening of the cutting lips provides these tools with a great capacity to remove burrs and perfect performance, allowing work in a wide range of materials such as copper, aluminum, alloy steel, cast iron and magnesium, among others, so that they are available as required.
PCD external mill
Suitable for side wall milling of cavity and slot for different machining conditions. PCD end mill with one edge over the center, side milling, slot milling and profile milling. PCD edge has good chipping resistance and wear resistance.
